Selecting Align

To Align a part, highlight the part in the database, select the Operations button, and select Align from the list. When you Align a part, the program updates the estimate with the associated labor hours and costs.

To select Align

1. Open or create a workfile.
2. Select the Estimate tab, and then select the Lines tab.
3. Select the MOTOR tab.
4. Select a group, a subgroup, and a part from the database panel.
5. Select Operations > Align. from the Operations toolbar. The Estimate Line Properties sheet opens, displaying the General tab.
6. Move through the Estimate Line Properties fields, entering the labor and other information for the part.
7. Select the Add to Estimate button. (If your cursor is on an existing estimate line, the Part Checking Dialog box opens to let you determine where the newly created estimate line will appear.)
8. Select the Insert before current line or the Append to end of estimate button.
9. Select the OK button.
